Youth Presentation – Introducing Just Transition
We started with a session for university students in Essaouira to introduce the idea of a just and sustainable transition. We explained how to conduct field surveys and invited participants to apply for the next activity.
🎓 This activity helped us select three motivated young people to join the research team.
Field Research – Listening to the Fishers
We carried out 10 interviews with small-scale fishers to understand their daily challenges, views on climate change, and what kind of support they truly need. The field researchers gathered audio, video, and photos during this experience.

Awareness Campaign – Sharing Their Voices
We turned the interviews into a social media campaign. The goal: help people hear what the fishers are really saying — and start a conversation about fairness, climate, and livelihoods.

Final Report – From Data to Action
We created a simple 2-page report to highlight the voices of fishers and share clear recommendations with NGOs, policymakers, and youth groups. It includes charts, quotes, and solutions from the field.
